Chunxiao Zhao

Currently, I am a PhD student at Mcgill University, in Professor Stéphane Richard's Lab in Lady Davis Institute. My current research is about RNA binding proteins in multiple sclerosis. I got my Bachelor's and Master's degree in Shanghai Jiao Tong University. My master's thesis is about orphan receptor BRS3 in type 2 diabetes signaling. I also did drug screening, TCGA analysis and animal behavioural studies on pain and major depression.
Other than my research, I am also interested and do readings about glioblastoma, schizophrenia and cognitive neuroscience.
In my free time, I love hiking, riding, going to the gym and explore new exercise. I also love doing handcrafts and painting.
